Don't altar a thing.

This original floor had two levels but would not accomodate a chef who likes to drink wine while cooking with it. The rear, upper level was removed, leveled, and replaced with Carrara marble tile to accomodate the orignal, spectacular foreground of marble steps and mosaic tile.
